THE VOTE! PROJECT program (Chico) is accepting applications for a Peer Instructor (job description) 

The VOTE! Project gives peer to peer presentations to people with developmental disabilities. Peer Instructors show groups why voting is important and what their voting rights are. They make voting easier to understand and help anyone who would like to register to vote. This job is for up to 15 hours per month.

The ADVENTURES IN BUSINESS (AIB) program is accepting applications for a Mentor (job description)

Adventures in Business supports self-employed small business owners with developmental disabilities. Business Owners are mentored in areas related to owning and operating their individual small business. The Mentor will provide the ongoing training and support needed for the Business Owner to operate their small art business at its fullest potential. This job is part-time up to 25 hours per month, with mileage reimbursed monthly.

Presenters show groups how to help the people they support stay safe from abuse. We are currently looking for a Presenter. This job is up to 10 hours per month and usually coordinates with Feeling Safe, Being Safe for an additional 10 hours per month.

FSBS, PI- Job Announce 2015The FEELING SAFE, BEING SAFE program is accepting applications for a Peer Instructor (job description)

The Feeling Safe, Being Safe program gives presentations on how to be ready to leave your home in case of an emergency or disaster. Presentations are given to people with disabilities and to the general community. We are currently looking for a Peer Instructor. Applicants must receive services from FNRC. This job is up to 10 hours per month and usually coordinates with C.A.A.T. for an additional 10 hours per month.

The Healthy Living Program gives peer-to-peer instruction to adults with developmental disabilities. Peer Instructors teach how to break down the life changes needed to prevent or manage diabetes into easier and smaller steps. This job is up to 10 hours per week.

We are currently looking for a Helper for the People First of Corning chapter (meeting is in Los Molinos). This job is up to 8 hours per month, with limited travel out of town for conferences.
