All Soul’s Day

This caught my interest because I know that November 1st is All Saint’s Day. All Saint’s Day is a Christian holiday that honors and celebrates all of the saints of the christian church. There are over 10,000 recognized saints, and many of these saints were killed because they believed in God. November 2nd, today, is All Soul’s Day! So what is this all about? All Soul’s Day is a Christian holiday that began in 998. It began as a day to pray for the souls of loved ones to be received into heaven. Some people believe that people’s souls need to be cleansed once they have died, so praying for the souls of loved ones helps to take away their sin, which opens the way for them to get into haven. All Soul’s Day is a day to remember the loved ones who have died and are now in heaven.
